6 Pack Abs
Friday, February 27th, 2009Everybody wants a 6 pack, it’s probably the most coveted ‘look’ that there is. It looks fantastic and says to people that you are in the finest condition possible for someone to achieve.
Men can add muscle with relative ease by training and eating enough food, however most of them find it tough to reveal their stomach muscles. Lot’s of women crave a tight waistline and 6 pack abs the likes of which they see on sportswomen or models, but don’t have the confidence or belief that they could actually make it happen.
Before we discuss this further, I’ve written a review for a dedicated Ab training guide that you may want to read - click here to take a look..
There are some of course who have low bodyfat levels through genetics, and sport great abs without even trying. For the rest of us ‘mere mortals’ you have to be a little bit more canny to get them coming through.
It is possible for just about everybody; only the timescales vary seeing as some people have more bodyfat to burn off than others. You need to have a bodyfat percentage of around 10% for a 6 pack to start to become visible, any higher and those abs will remain hidden. For someone who is of average weight, it can take as little as 12-16 weeks to get bodyfat levels low enough to see the abs. That’s an estimate, and some could take longer, or perhaps slightly less. This, of course, is only possible if you are regularly training and following a diet, and you have to have discipline and staying power in that respect. You’ve probably guessed that this is where most people fall down!
You’ll no doubt agree that after looking at how building 6 pack bas is achieved, it’s not quite as tricky as you may have thought. You’ll need a lot of discipline to keep you from quitting the rigid diet plan and training program you’ll be on. I’ve written some articles on dieting for fat loss and also training which you can view here, and for the full version of this article, click here
