How long will it take me to get a 6 pack?

OK, you have set yourself the aim of getting a six pack, now you thave to set yourself smaller practicable goals. This is how to get a six pack fast because without smaller, quantifiable targets your principal goal of getting rock solid abs is probably doomed to failure before starting.

What should I eat while training?

Protein and plenty of it. Say goodbye to pizza, chinese meals and the like if you are serious about getting a six pack. Foods like chicken, egs, lean red meat, tuna and other fish should be your staple diet from this time on. Oh and eat your veg too. These are rich in necessary vitamins and fill you up so you do not want a candy bar break inbetween meals.

What kind of exercises should I be doing?

Never just concentrate on your stomach muscles when working out as this can give you a flat, wierd looking six pack when observed from the side. This is sometimes known as aerobic abs and you do not want these, trust me!

You really want to be doing a wide variation of exercises that works all the core group muscles.

Should I be working out every day?

Depends how fit you are. If you’re just starting out then no, workout every 2 days. If you’re a regular at the gymnasium or on the road then yes, if you happen to feel up to it go for it.

Which of those ab machines advertised on TV should I buy?

Like squandering your spare cash do you? It is not possible to spot target fat so you should just get used to it. Get a good set of adjustable dumbells and a pull up bar that fits in your door and you are set to go. The ab machine that can remove fat from your stomach still has to be invented.

Have I got to join a gym to get a six pack?

Definitely not unless you actually want to. I always recommend my clients work out at home to start with. Later as they progress I then suggest a pay as you go gymnasium membership and then eventually only put pen to a contract if they’re happy they’re going to keep going at it and get full use of their membership.

Will supplements help me get a six pack?

It’s vital to realize that there is no magic bullet to weight loss or muscle building but a high quality protein supplement can help your six pack progress. Make sure you use whey isolate protein as it is the purer form and is way more effective than the concentrate stuff that’s in most of the protein powders on the present market.
