Best Way To Get Six Pack

Monday, April 25th, 2011

With summer lurking just around the corner, there’s no better way to start shaping up and getting the abs you want and deserve.  It has become a modern myth that you can’t get abs if you weren’t born with it or if you don’t use enhancements.  The people who believe this have obviously never heard of The Truth About Six Pack Abs by Mike Geary.  Like me, Mike has encountered pretty big challenges before he discovered the secret to losing fat and gaining muscle. Nutrition plays a big role in getting a six pack and this method dedicates a good percentage on how and what you should eat.  The exercises are also one to watch for they have pretty good science backing them up.

Six pack abs can only appear when you have lost enough fat.  Fat positions itself above muscles and that means no matter how tight your abs are or how ripped you get, you still won’t be to see them if you have a considerable amount of fat in your midsection.  Some people are just predetermined to store more fat while others just can’t seem to store fat. It’s the sad truth but do you really want to let that get in between you and the body that you want?. While some of us really have to put more effort than others, that only makes the fruit of the hard work all worth it.  In fact, if fun is made part of the equation, the hard work would not even seem so.

To start off, let’s take a look at your diet. The goal is to eat food that helps you burn fat so you can show off the abs.  Needless to say, abs cannot appear if they’re not there to begin with, so you would actually want to build abdominal muscles too. You need the right exercises for that and Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto provides some really amazing set of compound exercises including proper ways to train and work out.

Now that we’ve got that covered, here are simple and easy tips and tricks you can do to lose fat.  I swear by them because I live them. The first trick is breakfast. I can’t emphasize it enough but you have to never skip breakfast. Breakfast awakens your digestive system after fasting for 8 to 12 hours of sleep. This also makes your appetite more controlled. Immediately after my first encounter with breakfast, I noticed that I wasn’t missing or craving in-between-meals munchies anymore.  In fact, it takes a lot of time before, and that is if I even, get hungry.  I do not advocate skipping meals though and I get around the “no hunger pangs” phase by simply eating whatever I could.  Skipping meals can make your metabolism inefficient.

Breakfast, no biggie, right? But the catch is you have to make sure it is healthy and have all the protein, healthy fat and fiber you need to build muscles and lose fat.  Great breakfast foods include whole eggs, healthy dairy like skimmed milk and cheese, and whole grain bread or cereal and fruits. Muscles can’t be built without protein so you need a lot of that. You may wonder why eggs and milk are part of this list when they are known to be fat sources. But the one thing they don’t tell you is you actually need the fat they give to burn fat and that’s on top of the protein they can provide.  For healthier meals that can help you in your ab-forming goals, check out The Truth About Six Pack Abs’ recipes and other nutritional guide.  The choices are very tasty considering they’re healthy.

Another trick I have involves doing exercise in the morning. This is something as simple as dancing to at least three songs or running for that equivalent amount of time right after you wake up. So that’s around 15 to 20 minutes of exercise that you should do about 30 minutes or more before you eat breakfast. In less than a week you can see astounding results: your waist is smaller and your midsection, rid of fat. If you want to be able to work your muscles while doing cardio, compound exercises is the way to go and should be incorporated in your routine.
