Move Towards A New You And Away From The Chocolate Aisle

Saturday, March 27th, 2010

We have all been there before - you, in a moment of masochism, decide to see how you are looking in your skinny jeans. From there the night usually takes a turn for the worst as you begin to rue the cream bun you had at lunch time and rethink your stance on diet colas being for wimps.

Just about every woman has a pair of jeans or some other piece of clothing that acts as your weight loss and gain yard stick. They are a great way for you to monitor when you have overindulged and want to get back to your ideal weight.

Do not fall in a crying heap on the floor and curse your genes (or jeans), do not throw a tantrum and promise that you will give up chocolate forever (because you know that isn’t going to happen, don’t even blame yourself for letting so many cellulite dimples set up base camp on your thighs. Do be proactive and get moving.

Don’t bother being bummed about being a bit on the beefy side. Look at it with the glass half full of diet soda and see that with a bit of exercise, you will be looking hot in a short space of time and also feeling fantastic and probably have better skin and a sunnier disposition.

Loads of people like to make excuses and say ‘I don’t have the time to exercise’ or ‘I can’t afford the gym fees’. But if you are in that mentality, you can never make a positive change in your life. Quite simply you need to make time for your health, when all is said and done it is the most important thing that you have. If you have a tight budget, then you can exercise at home for free.

If you can afford it and you are a bit low on motivation, then get yourself a personal trainer. They will be able to come up with a spectacular program for you to whittle down the extra pounds in no time.

If you can’t stretch to a trainer of your own, then all you need to do is to browse the Internet and find a whole lot of exercises that will burn fat and a muscle workout routine that will tone your muscles in the appropriate areas.
